The Faculty of Economics (FE) is one of five faculties at Nahdlatul Ulama University Yogyakarta. FE was established as a form of commitment in making a real contribution to the congregation in facing the challenges of the industrial world based on the principles of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah. In addition, the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 will have a significant impact on the world of education. At present, the world of education is required to be technologically literate, because technology has a role in improving the quality of higher education.

The challenges for FE graduates in the 4.0 era will increase, therefore universities are expected to produce graduates who are competent and can compete globally. For this reason, it is necessary to instill an entrepreneurial spirit in students. Because, in the future, entrepreneurs will become superior professions and are in great demand. Not only students or graduates of management programs can become entrepreneurs. Students or graduates from accounting can also become entrepreneurs. By becoming an entrepreneur, these graduates help create jobs and improve the national economy.
