Employee Gathering in Bali, UNU Jogja Strengthens Team Spirit and Solidarity

Bali, Indonesia – Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU Jogja) held its Employee Gathering 2026 in Bali from January 20–24, 2026. The annual event brought together university leaders, lecturers, and staff to strengthen solidarity, togetherness, and workplace morale.

The program was designed as a space for reflection as well as appreciation for the dedication of UNU Jogja’s academic and administrative staff over the past year. Through this initiative, UNU Jogja aims to foster a healthy, collaborative, and sustainable work environment to support continuous improvement in both academic and non-academic services.

Throughout the gathering, participants joined a series of educational and recreational visits to several of Bali’s iconic destinations, including Jimbaran, Tanah Lot, Bali Bird Park, Tanjung Benoa, Kuta, Penglipuran Village, and Kintamani. The program also included pilgrimage visits, culinary experiences, and various group recreational activities.

Event coordinator and representative from the Directorate of Finance and Human Resources of UNU Jogja, Yogie Yolanda, stated that the carefully planned agenda was not only intended as a refreshing break, but also as a way to strengthen communication across work units.

“We hope the interactions built during this gathering will enhance synergy among employees in supporting the vision and mission of UNU Jogja as a globally competitive private university in Yogyakarta,” he said.

He added that the Employee Gathering is an important part of the university’s human resource management strategy, particularly in maintaining a balance between professional performance and employee well-being.

Through this activity, the university expects to further strengthen employees’ sense of togetherness and loyalty, which will positively impact service quality, productivity, and the institution’s long-term development. [Latifah]
