FIP UNU Jogja Journal Wins National Award at ARJUNU AWARD 2026

Surabaya, Indonesia – PGSD – PRIMER: Journal of Primary Education Research, published under the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program, Faculty of Education (FIP), Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU Jogja), received the “Other Internationally Indexed Journal” award at the ARJUNU AWARD 2026.
The national award was organized by the Association of NU University Journal Volunteers and Managers (ARJUNU) as a form of appreciation for the dedication of journal management teams within Nahdlatul Ulama-affiliated universities.
This achievement was made possible through the leadership of FIP Dean Dr. Mustaghfiroh Rahayu, the guidance of Editor in Chief Dr. Taufan Jannata, M.Pd., AIFO, and the support of the journal management team, including Mustamid, M.Pd., Dr. Murdianto, M.Psi., Nofica, M.Pd.I., Dr. Lita Ariyanti, M.Pd., as well as the collaboration of two Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) students, Nofita and Sessi.
The award ceremony took place at the Auditorium of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (UNUSA) on Tuesday (10/2). Carrying the theme “PTNU Synergy through the Role of LPPM and Journal Managers,” ARJUNU AWARD 2026 gathered more than 260 journal managers and LPPM leaders from NU-affiliated universities across Indonesia.
Representing the team, PGSD Study Program Head Dr. Murdianto expressed gratitude for the achievement and appreciation for all parties involved in managing the journal. He noted that the success was the result of consistent collective efforts to maintain the quality of scientific publications.
“We express our gratitude and appreciation to the entire editorial team, authors, reviewers, and UNU Jogja for supporting the journal publication process from the very beginning until this award was achieved. Our commitment to maintaining quality, journal governance, and scholarly contribution will remain our top priority,” he said.
Meanwhile, ARJUNU Chair Dr. Fifi Khoirul Fitriyah, M.Pd., emphasized that the ARJUNU AWARD is not merely a ceremonial recognition, but an acknowledgment of the long and dedicated process undertaken by journal managers.
She added that the award is part of a broader effort to build a strong, professional, and dignified scientific publication ecosystem within NU-affiliated universities at both national and international levels.
Looking ahead, the management of the Journal of Primary Education Research is committed to continuously improving journal quality, expanding the reach of scholarly work, and pursuing reputable national and international indexations such as SINTA and Scopus.
