The 2025 ICSINTESA International Conference Held in Yogyakarta, with UNU Jogja Serving as Main Co-Host

Yogyakarta, Indonesia — The 5th International Conference of Science and Information Technology in Smart Administration (ICSINTESA) officially took place on Saturday, 29 November, at Hotel Sahid Raya Babarsari, Yogyakarta. This year, UNU Jogja took part as the Main Co-Host, collaborating with the primary organizers to present an international academic forum that brought together researchers, scholars, and professionals from various countries.
ICSINTESA 2025 was held in a hybrid format, enabling participants to join either onsite or online. The conference served as an important platform for exchanging the latest ideas in information technology, applied sciences, smart administration, and digital innovation—areas that continue to evolve in response to today’s global challenges.
UNU Jogja delegate Yana Hendriana, Ph.D, attended the conference and expressed her appreciation for the ongoing collaboration. She stated that UNU Jogja’s involvement as a Co-Host represents a strategic step toward strengthening the university’s international network while opening wider opportunities for research contributions.
“I greatly appreciate the collaboration built through ICSINTESA 2025. UNU Jogja’s presence in this forum demonstrates our commitment to actively contributing to the advancement of science and technology, particularly in smart governance and digital innovation,” said Yana.
Research work from UNU Jogja was also presented at the conference. The paper titled “PID-Based Automated Hydroponic Nutrient Mixing System with Effluent Water Integration at Pangeran Diponegoro Boarding School” was delivered by Imam Muchlisin and Irwan Novianto, lecturers at UNU Jogja, in collaboration with Gandewa Bayu Satrya from Abdullah Al Salem University, Kuwait. The research highlights an automated hydroponic system using a PID-based control mechanism integrated with treated wastewater, offering a sustainable solution for agriculture and environmental management.
ICSINTESA 2025 featured various parallel sessions, international keynote speakers, and scientific discussions addressing the latest technological developments. Through its participation, UNU Jogja strengthened its reputation as an institution actively engaged in research and global collaboration, further supporting the university’s vision to become a center of innovation that benefits society.
