Promoting Curriculum Innovation: Agribusiness UNU Jogja Conducts Benchmarking with the Agribusiness Department, Faculty of Agriculture UNS

Surakarta, Indonesia — The Agribusiness Study Program of Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU Jogja) conducted a curriculum benchmarking activity with the Agribusiness Study Program of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) on Thursday, December 11. The activity, held in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture UNS, was welcomed directly by the Head of the Agribusiness Study Program, Dr.rer.agr. Evi Irawan, S.P., M.Sc., along with her team.
The Head of the Agribusiness Study Program of UNU Jogja, Nur Saudah Al Arifa D., S.T.P., M.Sc., attended the agenda together with the Study Program Secretary, Meita Puspa Dewi, S.Pt., M.Sc., and Agribusiness lecturers Marlianasari Putri, S.Hut., M.Sc.; Nurul Salehawati, S.P., M.Sc.; Nurlina, S.P., M.Sc.; Dheny Arina H., S.Hut., M.Sc.; and Marosimy Millaty, S.E., M.Sc.
Nur Saudah explained that this benchmarking activity serves as a strategic step toward strengthening academic quality and curriculum innovation within the Agribusiness Study Program at UNU Jogja.
“The main objectives of this agenda are to learn about curriculum structure and graduate learning outcomes, assess curriculum alignment with national standards and industry needs, identify best practices in academic management, and strengthen academic collaboration through the tridharma, MBKM, research, and community service between the two institutions,” she stated.
In line with this, the Head of the Agribusiness Study Program at UNS, Dr.rer.agr. Evi Irawan, expressed her appreciation for the initiative. He hopes the collaboration will continue to grow.
“We are very pleased to welcome the visit from the Agribusiness Study Program of UNU Jogja. We hope this activity marks the beginning of stronger collaboration in the future, not only in curriculum alignment but also in research and community service,” he said.
The discussion proceeded in an interactive and productive manner. Both parties shared key information related to academic governance and curriculum development. They also emphasized the importance of strengthening graduate profiles and conducting regular tracer studies to ensure the relevance of graduates’ competencies to industry needs. The presentations provided a comprehensive overview of the strong, adaptive, and well-structured academic systems within each study program.
