Agribusiness Study Program at UNU Jogja Strengthens Learning Through Impactful Internship Scheme

Yogyakarta, Indonesia - The Agribusiness Study Program of the Faculty of Halal Industry at UNU Jogja held a Campus Impactful Internship Orientation on Wednesday, September 10, at The Forum, 3rd Floor, UNU Jogja. The event, themed “Impactful Internship: Building Competence, Making Contributions”, was attended by Agribusiness students who will carry out internships with various strategic partners.

Head of the Agribusiness Study Program, Nur Saudah Al Arifa D., S.T.P., M.Sc., emphasized that internships are not merely an academic requirement but a real learning space for students.

“Internships should be seen as a means to build professional competence as well as make real contributions to society. With this guide, we want to ensure that every student, supervising lecturer, and partner has a clear direction so that the internship does not stop at formality, but truly creates impact,” she said.

On this occasion, she also launched the 2025 Impactful Internship Guidebook as a reference for students, lecturers, and partners to ensure that internship implementation is more measurable and sustainable.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Nur Fathoni, S.Pd. from UNU Jogja’s Directorate of Academic Affairs presented the regulations and technical aspects of the internship. He stressed the importance of synergy between students, supervising lecturers, and partners in supporting the program’s success.

The Campus Impactful Program is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdikdikteksaintek). This program emphasizes that student activities must provide real benefits to society, business sectors, and the environment.

Through this orientation, students are expected to be ready to face field challenges with adequate knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The Agribusiness Study Program at UNU Jogja is committed to making internships an integral part of learning, in line with the spirit of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy. [Latifah]
