Eight PGSD UNU Jogja Lecturers Featured at the National Cross-Campus Education Seminar

Yogyakarta, Indonesia - Eight teams of lecturers and students from the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program of UNU Jogja participated in the National Education Seminar themed “Integrating Taman Siswa’s Teachings into Deep Learning to Achieve Quality Education for All.”
The event, held in a hybrid format on Thursday, August 28, was organized by Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University (UST) in collaboration with seven universities in Indonesia, with UNU Jogja as one of the main partners. The seminar was officially opened by Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Prof. Abdul Mu’ti, M.Ed and featured several education experts as keynote speakers.
The eight teams of UNU Jogja lecturers and students who presented were: Dr. Murdianto, S.Pd.I., M.Si., Dewi Masithoh, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Rahmad Robiyanto; Azizatul Alif Syafriza, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Yuninda Dwindiyantik; Mustamid, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Ilmanida Azizah; Hidar Amaruddin, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Nurul Husna Khoirunnisa; Dr. Taufan Jannata, M.Pd. and Fariesta Nur Rahmawati; Risda Nur Widia, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Windha Puspita Sari; as well as Sutiyono, S.Pd., M.Pd. and Lathifah Kusumannisa.
This seminar marked the culmination of a series of collaborative activities between UNU Jogja, UST, University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto, and several other universities.
Dr. Murdianto, a PGSD UNU Jogja lecturer who also served as a moderator in the parallel session, emphasized that this event reflected UNU Jogja’s capability in building cross-campus collaborations. “This activity demonstrates that UNU Jogja can collaborate with many universities in responding to the development of discourse and policies in the field of primary education in Indonesia,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Mustamid, S.Pd., M.Pd., Head of the PGSD UNU Jogja Study Program, added that the seminar was a concrete manifestation of previously initiated collaborations. “This event is a realization of the MoU we had signed earlier. We hope this can further grow into more productive collaborations,” he remarked. [Latifah]
