FE UNU Jogja Strengthens International Cooperation with Vietnam and Malaysia at AFEBSI National Meeting

Yogyakarta, Indonesia - The Faculty of Economics at Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Jogja signed MoUs and MoAs with Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance, Vietnam, and Management and Science University, Malaysia, on Higher Education Tridharma in Pekanbaru, Riau, from Wednesday to Friday, August 13–15, 2025.
The signing took place during the 3rd National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Indonesian Private Economics and Business Faculties Alliance (AFEBSI), attended by rectors, deans, program heads, deputy heads, and lecturers in Management, Accounting, Business, and Sharia Economics from member private universities.
Dean Diah Retno Wulandaru emphasized that the Rakernas served as a key momentum to enhance members’ capacity and capability while strengthening collaboration among private economics and business faculties in Indonesia.
She explained that the MoU and MoA support the implementation of Tridharma for faculty, enabling curriculum benchmarking, joint research or publications, and student exchange programs.
Diah Retno also served as a keynote speaker representing Indonesia in the international seminar “Redesigning Economic and Business Strategies in the Era of Digitalization and Sustainability,” alongside speakers from Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, and Poland.
International collaboration at FE UNU Jogja was further reinforced through Implementation Arrangements signed by the Management and Accounting program heads. Concurrently, the Rakernas featured MoUs and cooperation agreements among AFEBSI members nationwide.
Other key activities included a dissemination session on LAMEMBA accreditation excellence and an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum workshop for Management and Accounting programs. [Latifah]
