UNU Jogja Achieves National Recognition, Laskar Pelita Wins 2nd Place in Business Plan 2025

Jepara, Indonesia - Students of Nahdlatul Ulama University (UNU) Jogja achieved another proud accomplishment by winning 2nd place in the 2025 National Business Plan Competition (NBPC) held by Universitas Islam Nahdlatul Ulama (UNISNU) Jepara.

Themed “Building a Greener Future, Sustainable Business,” the competition ran from Monday, June 16, 2025, to Thursday, July 31, 2025, culminating in presentations and an award ceremony at the Faculty of Economics and Business Seminar Room, UNISNU Jepara.

The UNU Jogja team, named Laskar Pelita, comprised Ruli Ardiansah and Putri Candra Dewi from the 2024 Management Study Program, and Nur Ngazizah Al Ma’muri from the 2024 Informatics Study Program. They presented an innovative business idea focused on sustainability and environmental friendliness.

Acting Rector of UNU Jogja, Suhadi, expressed high appreciation for the achievement: “We are proud of our students’ accomplishment. This proves that creativity, hard work, and collaboration can enable our students to compete nationally. We hope this inspires other students to keep innovating and contributing to society.”

The national-level competition brought together top teams from universities across Indonesia. With solid market research, product innovation, and business strategies, Laskar Pelita impressed the judges and secured second place.

As a result, the team received trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes. This achievement reinforces the quality and competitiveness of UNU Jogja students nationally and motivates others to continue excelling. [Latifah]
