UNU Jogja Opens Recruitment for 2026 Legal Officer Position, One Vacancy Available

Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Yogyakarta (UNU Jogja) is opening recruitment for a Legal Officer position in 2026 to meet the institution’s need for legal professionals. The recruitment offers one position, with applications accepted until August 31, 2026.

The Legal Officer position is intended for candidates with an educational background and professional experience in law who can support the institution’s legal affairs. Selected candidates are expected to have strong legal analysis and document-drafting skills, as well as an understanding of regulations relevant to higher education institutions.

Candidate Requirements

UNU Jogja has established several requirements for applicants. Candidates must be Indonesian citizens and Muslim, with at least a Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law. A Master’s degree in Notarial Law is considered an advantage.

Applicants must also have a minimum GPA of 3.25 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent and be no older than 30 years as of December 31, 2026. Candidates are also expected to have 1–2 years of professional experience in the legal field.

In terms of competencies, applicants are expected to have expertise in Contract Drafting & Review, be able to prepare Legal Opinions and Legal Audits, and understand Civil Law, Labor Law, and regulations issued by the Directorate General of Higher Education (Dikti).

Applicants must also have a good record, have never been convicted of a criminal offense based on a court ruling, and be free from drugs. In addition, candidates must not have family or kinship relationships—such as a spouse, child/in-law, or sibling—with UNU Jogja employees.

The required documents include:

1. An application letter addressed to the Rector of UNU Yogyakarta.
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV).
3. Recent color photograph.
4. A scanned or photographed copy of the diploma and legalized academic transcript. International graduates must also submit an official degree equivalency letter from Dikti.
5. Portfolio and other relevant certificates or supporting documents, if available.

The entire UNU Jogja recruitment process is free of charge. Only applicants who meet the qualifications will be contacted to proceed to the next stage of the selection process. The recruitment committee’s decision is final and cannot be contested.
